MA Dance conducts 13 Regionals and 1 State Championship throughout the United States. At the Texas State Championship, February 6th at Bowie High School, letter jackets will be awarded to the winning soloists grades Pre K-Kindergarten, 1-3, 4-6, 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12. These age divisions for solo dancers to allow recognition and awards. The top scoring officer line members and highest scoring ensemble dancers in the contest will also receive letter jackets. Special State Championship trophies will also be awarded.
We have the most respected and prestigious competitions in America. Typically, our competitions involve from 35 to 100 teams. Categories of the Dance competition include: team & officer, jazz, hip hop, prop, novelty, military, pom, high kick, lyrical, modern, show production, open and specialty. We also have small ensemble (duet, trio, and quartet), large ensemble and solo competitions. Categories for the auxiliary competition include: team flag, rifle, winter guard and team twirl. We also have ensemble and solo competition for color guard and majorettes.
