MA Dance and Auxiliaries has reserved room space with 5 downtown hotels in Ft. Worth located either across
the street or within two blocks of the Convention Center. In all cases, these are beautiful properties offering reduced rates for our participants & spectators. Regardless where you stay in Ft. Worth, please be sure to fill in the travel information on the National Registration Form providing us with the Name, Address, and Phone Number of your hotel as well as the number of rooms your groups is reserving.

Professional Judges: 
Olympic Style judging will be used in the TEAM divisions.  Five (5) highly qualified judges from across the country will adjudicate each performance. The high and low scores will be eliminated and the other three will be utilized to determine each team’s total score. Three (3) judges will be used in the other divisions of Officer Lines, Dance Ensembles, Solos and Auxiliary Events. Every judge will provide both a digital audio critique and score sheet for all routines. 

Note: At MA Dance Nationals, judges will be encouraged to deduct points in the appearance and choreography captions if appropriate costuming, movement, and/or music is not utilized in all routine performances.

Numerous Divisions:  High School and Community/Studio teams are placed in different divisions with a wide variety of age groups.  This enables participants to be judged against groups and individuals of similar background and team size.

• All Star/Studio 7th - Adult

National Championship Jackets Will Be Awarded to the Top Scoring Officer Line
National Championship Jackets Will Be Awarded to the Top Scoring Soloist In All 7 Age Divisions

Jackets will also be awarded to any other team classifications with 8 eligible entries.

Refund Policy

Refunds must be requested in writing or fax no later than March 1, 2010.

Teams, officers, ensembles, and individuals that cancel entries after that time will not receive any refund! All entry fees must be paid by the date of the competition.

SPECIAL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS

Only M.A. Dance offers teams so many opportunities to win. Last year, we awarded over 300 letter jackets. First, Second, and Third Place Trophies in all dance categories in each team division are awarded. If more than 10 teams from the same division enter the same dance category, the First through Sixth Place Trophies will be presented.

Please note the following policy regarding video taping for Nationals:
We are pleased to let you know that performances in all three performance areas will be professionally recorded. No Video Taping will be allowed by teams or individuals attending the competition. Please be sure to make parents aware of this policy.
